Pacho Zuya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berdoi Maliaño in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eztebe Fontova managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horqueta's supporters rose to their feet, but Eztebe Fontova was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pacho Zuya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Reimundo Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Echevarria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reimundo Acosta couldn't finish the play. Garcia Enebro hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Reimundo Acosta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Echevarria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Echevarria's Humberto Ayerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Reimundo Acosta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echevarria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reimundo Acosta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sansone Baena kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Echevarria's Reimundo Acosta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reimundo Acosta was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Horqueta's Eztebe Fontova made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pacho Zuya was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the game, Reimundo Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Uhin Domaquia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 played minutes Horqueta got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Malave. Echevarria's attack was well implemented in the 66th minute, but when Reimundo Acosta was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Reimundo Acosta might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uhin Domaquia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reimundo Acosta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute, Humberto Ayerdi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Echevarria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. After a rather tough play, Echevarria's Sansone Baena got a free kick in the 78th minute. Uhin Domaquia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Ayerdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Horqueta getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kemen Villaciergo hit a great ball. Humberto Ayerdi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Uhin Domaquia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echevarria. Jaen Cobo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Echevarria's Reimundo Acosta fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Humberto Ayerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Reimundo Acosta fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Uhin Domaquia moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds.
