Oso Hurones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Dalaje read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Laurin Trevino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Oso Hurones came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Canitas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oso Hurones couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Tupambae AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Dalaje had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oso Hurones. Oso Hurones's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Gaspar Dalaje skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Haimar Homar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canitas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Haimar Homar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Dalaje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Laurin Trevino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haimar Homar in the 35th minute of play forced Tupambae AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Dalaje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes, Sotil Pacheco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupambae AFC and the Canitas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tupambae AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sotil Pacheco hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Haimar Homar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaspar Dalaje, passed just outside the right post. 44 minutes into the match, Canitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Borrego came free, but Leonardo Echavarri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tupambae AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cuartio Perana hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haimar Homar to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Canitas FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Echavarri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurin Trevino. The Canitas FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Canitas FC's Haimar Homar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute, Oso Hurones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Dalaje was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 66 minutes, Higinio Piña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tupambae AFC and the Canitas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tupambae AFC's Higinio Piña got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Tupambae AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Haimar Homar came free, but Gaspar Dalaje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Borrego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Borrego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Canitas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tupambae AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
