When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severiano Solbeida made a kick off. Rocendo Sarantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltran Santayana having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Rocendo Sarantes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Beltran Santayana. After a rather tough play, Locomotora FC's Jayvier Flamenco got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Jeremias Bultron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beltran Santayana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Locomotora FC's Severiano Solbeida got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peñarol Prado's Niceto Ozaeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonsalve Tejo in the 79th minute of play. Beltran Santayana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocendo Sarantes in the 85th minute of play. Xorxe Laine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Beltran Santayana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xorxe Laine in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beltran Santayana saved Locomotora FC from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Maria Belo made a precise shot to the right of Beltran Santayana. Locomotora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Peñarol Prado's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
