When Efrain Caldas fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Andresito's protests and gave Efrain Caldas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Efrain Caldas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilen Merodo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevao Ajorbe in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Lico Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilen Merodo. Andresito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lico Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Caitano Bonilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caitano Bonilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilen Merodo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Espinillo AFC's Estevao Ajorbe got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, one of Andresito:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Andresito. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

52 minutes into the game, Estevao Ajorbe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilen Merodo. Estevao Ajorbe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Efrain Caldas got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Efrain Caldas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Estevao Ajorbe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gilen Merodo made a huge save. Heitor Burgos scored 1-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Martijana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 82 minutes, Lico Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lico Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Estevao Ajorbe came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Espinillo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estevao Ajorbe couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lico Pena in the 86th minute of play forced Andresito's goalkeeper Gilen Merodo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lico Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estevao Ajorbe struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gilen Merodo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espinillo AFC. If Lico Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Lico Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lico Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Andresito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Espinillo AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Espinillo AFC.
