Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tadzio Balanzuela kicked off to start the match. When Leon Zumalburu fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceibal FC's protests and gave Leon Zumalburu a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Fagundez's Candido Rejon got control of the ball when Geofredo Garro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fagundez's Gero Leyva got a free kick in the 13th minute. Tadzio Balanzuela was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Fagundez defense, Geofredo Garro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Rejon. The Fagundez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Rejon should have stopped the shot. Tadzio Balanzuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Rejon having to interfere. Teobaldo Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Josu Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Cuffaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Fagundez's Candido Rejon got control of the ball when Geofredo Garro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Fagundez's Teobaldo Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josu Roldan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geofredo Garro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Candido Rejon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tadzio Balanzuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Candido Rejon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadzio Balanzuela in the 52nd minute of play. Candido Rejon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geofredo Garro's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Rosa in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josu Roldan saved Ceibal FC from getting behind. If Leandro Cuffaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodore Ibaute kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Josu Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fagundez booed when Ceibal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Zumalburu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Monteverde took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josu Roldan. Ceibal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 77 played minutes Fagundez got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Rosa. Candido Rejon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadzio Balanzuela in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otoniel Busta during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ceibal FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Otoniel Busta hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ceibal FC's goalkeeper Josu Roldan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Cuffaro. In the 89th minute Teobaldo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josu Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geofredo Garro in the 97th minute of play forced Fagundez's goalkeeper Candido Rejon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceibal FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fagundez for a fine match.
