In the 13th minute Ciro Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dunixi Villerias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Dei Monterros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavalleja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dei Monterros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Laureles's zone, Dei Monterros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dunixi Villerias came out of the goal and Dei Monterros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Quintero in the 44th minute of play forced Laureles's goalkeeper Dunixi Villerias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dei Monterros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yaniusky Ansures to make the kick off. Lluc Cabañas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argider Cazarez kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Laureles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bordat Antonijoan to maneuver through the defense. When Lavalleja FC's Ciro Quintero in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dei Monterros did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Dunixi Villerias 78 minutes into the match. When Laureles's Yaniusky Ansures in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lavalleja FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Dei Monterros managed to get in a good position for a shot.
