Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ekaitz Vargas started the match with the kick off. Ekaitz Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Abel Mendigoitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arriera's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Soin Covillas 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. NACIONAL's Abel Mendigoitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekaitz Vargas in the 14th minute of play. Bautista Hurtados short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Bikendi Badia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, Arriera's goalkeeper Bikendi Badia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bautista Hurtado. 22 minutes into the game, Ekaitz Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Abel Mendigoitia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Pietro Sorzano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Mendigoitia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pietro Sorzano went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 40 minutes, Pietro Sorzano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arriera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pietro Sorzano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pietro Sorzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Soin Covillas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Soin Covillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bikendi Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Mendigoitia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ekaitz Vargas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 60 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ekaitz Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Mendigoitia was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 67 played minutes NACIONAL got a freekick which was hit by Quirze Candanedo. Arriera's Bikendi Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Hurtado in the 72nd minute of play. Galoer Peciña's late challenge caught a NACIONAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Galoer Peciña helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Arriera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esiquio Cagide to maneuver through the defense. NACIONAL's Abel Mendigoitia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save NACIONAL from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, NACIONAL's goalkeeper Abel Mendigoitia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pietro Sorzano. 85 minutes into the match, Arriera's Pietro Sorzano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Mendigoitia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. NACIONAL's Abel Mendigoitia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save NACIONAL from getting a goal against them. A collision led to NACIONAL getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Erruki Laboy hit a great ball. When Pietro Sorzano came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Arriera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pietro Sorzano couldn't finish the play. Pietro Sorzano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Ekaitz Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arriera had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
