The supporters of Buceo FC booed when Caraguata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caraguata FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buceo FC the free kick. Salomone Chimeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Chap Preciado made a huge save. The supporters of Buceo FC booed when Caraguata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odol Illanas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buceo FC's Severiano Machon got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aitor Quexada came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chap Preciado could save by the left post. In the 23rd minute, Elizardo Astoreca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Buceo FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kevin Badillo hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Caraguata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Machon came free, but Chap Preciado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buceo FC's Salomone Chimeno got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Machon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buceo FC's Timo Ureña got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gavino Recemill blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Ungo having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severiano Machon was the one to do the kick off. Tiniebra Umbria hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Salomone Chimeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buceo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomone Chimeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elizardo Astoreca in the 60th minute of play forced Buceo FC's goalkeeper Joaquin Ungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Machon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chap Preciado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Gavino Recemill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Joaquin Ungo made a huge save. Salomone Chimeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Chap Preciado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caraguata FC's Tiadoro Bezanilla got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caraguata FC's zone, Severiano Machon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chap Preciado came out of the goal and Severiano Machon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elizardo Astoreca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Ungo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Caraguata FC's Gavino Recemill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Ungo. That made the score 0-1 after 81 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Caraguata FC's zone, Severiano Machon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chap Preciado came out of the goal and Severiano Machon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chap Preciado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Machon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Reynardo Cardarda hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Salomone Chimeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Caraguata FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Buceo FC had held the ball for most of the match.
