In the 34th minute Modesto Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atauri Falconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Piraraja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gartzi Armesto to maneuver through the defense. Baiarte Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mendiko Lape to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Conrao Miralles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piraraja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrao Miralles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gartzi Armesto hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, MARNE FC's goalkeeper Urtats Acebal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mendiko Lape. Silvano Limpias's late challenge caught a Piraraja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urtats Acebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendiko Lape, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Piraraja FC's zone, Min Avedillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atauri Falconi came out of the goal and Min Avedillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mendiko Lape received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Urtats Acebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mendiko Lape in the 82nd minute of play forced MARNE FC's goalkeeper Urtats Acebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Piraraja FC booed when MARNE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Angulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuxila Benegas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Laureano Amarelle hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
