Panpili Tejeda made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Xurde Rogel sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xurde Rogel got free with Panpili Tejeda in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Berrueta hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Decano FC's Patricio Berrueta got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Frisco Portero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaiet Oñatibia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panpili Franco in the 17th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Xurde Rogel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Decano FC's Panpili Tejeda got control of the ball when Xurde Rogel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Xurde Rogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivera's supporters rose to their feet, but Xurde Rogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panpili Tejeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rutenio Freije received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kaiet Oñatibia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frisco Portero in the 29th minute of play forced Decano FC's goalkeeper Panpili Tejeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Rutenio Freije shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaiet Oñatibia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cuezba struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Kaiet Oñatibia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Decano FC. Panpili Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaiet Oñatibia having to interfere. Kaiet Oñatibia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rutenio Freije in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Decano FC's goalkeeper Panpili Tejeda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xurde Rogel. When Xurde Rogel came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rivera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurde Rogel couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frisco Portero made a kick off. Frisco Portero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Rivera's Nel Iribarria tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nel Iribarria's late challenge caught a Decano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nel Iribarria helped the player get up and apologised. Panpili Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kaiet Oñatibia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Rivera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rutenio Freije fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Panpili Tejeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frisco Portero, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Frisco Portero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivera's supporters rose to their feet, but Frisco Portero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panpili Tejeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Rivera booed when Decano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Vinuesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Xurde Rogel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivera's supporters rose to their feet, but Xurde Rogel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panpili Tejeda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frisco Portero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panpili Tejeda having to make a save. Kaiet Oñatibia was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Panpili Franco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Panpili Franco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 73 minutes into the match, Decano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frisco Portero came free, but Panpili Tejeda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panpili Tejeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurde Rogel in the 74th minute of the match. Rivera's Xurde Rogel got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaiet Oñatibia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panpili Franco in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rivera's zone, Panpili Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaiet Oñatibia came out of the goal and Panpili Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rutenio Freije fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaiet Oñatibia having to interfere.
