Yaniusky Cañete's late challenge caught a Rivera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaniusky Cañete helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes C.A. SAYAGO got a freekick which was hit by Yaniusky Cañete. Cambranes Sopena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaiet Oñatibia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Bortzaioriz Cameno hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A hard shot 22 in the game by Cambranes Sopena from a close distance when the talented Kaiet Oñatibia managed to make a qualified save. Rivera's players were relieved. Rivera's Xurde Rogel got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Frisco Portero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. SAYAGO's Sandalio Osa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurde Rogel in the 33rd minute of play. Kaiet Oñatibia made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Cambranes Sopena sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Rivera getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Chuse Frexes hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match C.A. SAYAGO got a corner. Rivera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Villametide ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 43 minutes of play, Rivera's Frisco Portero made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandalio Osa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Sandalio Osa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chuse Frexes in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, C.A. SAYAGO's goalkeeper Sandalio Osa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xurde Rogel. Bartolo Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Xurde Rogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Sandalio Osa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurde Rogel might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandalio Osa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xurde Rogel ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the game, Rivera's Xurde Rogel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandalio Osa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Sandalio Osa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xurde Rogel in the 63rd minute. Xurde Rogel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Sandalio Osa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xurde Rogel took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandalio Osa. Sandalio Osa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 79 minutes into the game, Jurdan Molina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. SAYAGO the free kick. A collision led to Rivera getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jurdan Molina hit a great ball. Sandalio Osa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frisco Portero in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Beltza Salais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaiet Oñatibia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Villametide in the 88th minute of play. Frisco Portero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandalio Osa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Rivera played a much better game than C.A. SAYAGO and deserved their victory. The C.A. SAYAGO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
