Valente Maluenda helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cardozo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Valente Maluenda hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gelacio Gayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrido Rius was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardozo's goalkeeper Patrido Rius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Plaza Congreso's Gelacio Gayo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cardozo booed when Plaza Congreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geofredo Barga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plaza Congreso's Pascual Hebia got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Gelacio Gayo put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Patrido Rius. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Patrido Rius didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. 82 minutes into the game, Plaza Congreso's 魏邦宇 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrido Rius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Elazar Alcega charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elazar Alcega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Cardozo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elazar Alcega to maneuver through the defense.
