Mourino AFC's Quintan Soterraña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramos Romero in the 13th minute of play. Quintan Soterraña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelacio Gayo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Gelacio Gayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mourino AFC's Quintan Soterraña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Mourino AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arnas Calderon hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mourino AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Plaza Congreso a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramos Romero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mourino AFC's Quintan Soterraña. 0-3. Plaza Congreso's Baldomero Hervas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Congreso from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Anievas got free with Baldomero Hervas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quintan Soterraña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geofredo Barga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quintan Soterraña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Hebia in the 38th minute of play. Baldomero Hervas was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Arnas Calderon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the final whistle sounded Plaza Congreso left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mourino AFC.
