After having played for 3 minutes, Gogo Gonzalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intergaláctico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Gonzalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gogo Gonzalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acegua's Narciso Sandoval got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Justino Veraza fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intergaláctico FC's protests and gave Justino Veraza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Intergaláctico FC's Justino Veraza got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Sandoval in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberino Gorostieta saved Intergaláctico FC from getting behind. A collision led to Intergaláctico FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Sanson Calles hit a great ball. Narciso Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alberino Gorostieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberino Gorostieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Eliu Longar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Alberino Gorostieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Sandoval's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Walme Cerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberino Gorostieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Intergaláctico FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruisko Fuica. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Narciso Sandoval made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Gogo Gonzalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intergaláctico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Gonzalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gogo Gonzalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Elizardo Jove came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Intergaláctico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elizardo Jove couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Gonzalo in the 60th minute of play forced Acegua's goalkeeper Pirro Andonegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Intergaláctico FC's Alberino Gorostieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Sandoval in the 64th minute of play. Narciso Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberino Gorostieta having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Sandoval kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alberino Gorostieta. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. Walme Cerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alberino Gorostieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberino Gorostieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 76 minutes, Eustaquio Mendoza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acegua and the Intergaláctico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Acegua getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eustaquio Mendoza hit a great ball. Walme Cerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Narciso Sandoval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acegua's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Sandoval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberino Gorostieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walme Cerio in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alberino Gorostieta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Acegua supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Acegua would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
