Arnas Calderon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pirro Andonegui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When Andres Posadillo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acegua's protests and gave Andres Posadillo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Acegua's Andres Posadillo got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes, Mourino AFC's Opilano Echaniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pirro Andonegui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mourino AFC reached it. Jabier Velaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macias Monasterio charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Macias Monasterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mourino AFC booed when Acegua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macias Monasterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Walme Cerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quintan Soterraña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Walme Cerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mourino AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Quintan Soterraña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walme Cerio in the 37th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Cristo Anievas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mourino AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acegua the free kick. In the 44th minute, Walme Cerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Sandoval made a kick off. Mourino AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Walme Cerio scored to the left of an out of position Quintan Soterraña, making the score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Mourino AFC's Matxin Terjida got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Jabier Velaz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mourino AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jabier Velaz couldn't finish the play. If Jabier Velaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintan Soterraña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Arnas Calderon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Jabier Velaz put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pirro Andonegui. Eustaquio Mendoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Narciso Sandoval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Acegua eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
