Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Belo Ubilla started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Candil booed when Young was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Araoz Alamasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignazio Matanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belo Ubilla in the 6th minute of the match. Onofre Maruca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Mill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Young were furious when Foro Tejo was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 17th minute, Rogelio Domaquia had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Angelo Obiaga fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candil's protests and gave Angelo Obiaga a yellow card for diving instead. Young's Godofredo Potes was substituted for Rogelio Domaquia. In the 19th match minute, Candil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Obiaga to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Young's Onofre Maruca got control of the ball when Aureo Ariño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laurin Murieta kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cilio Espriu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Young's supporters rose to their feet, but Cilio Espriu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignazio Matanza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belo Ubilla in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignazio Matanza saved Candil from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Francho Mesonero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Young's supporters rose to their feet, but Francho Mesonero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignazio Matanza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Potes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Mill was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Belo Ubilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Belo Ubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belo Ubilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aureo Ariño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onofre Maruca having to interfere. Francho Mesonero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ignazio Matanza made a huge save. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Candil's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Laurin Murieta was slow to take the kick. During this time Young's players had a chance to rest. Criston Casanoves made a great header on Young's corner, it was just that Candil's Ignazio Matanza managed to reach the ball for a save. Onofre Maruca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureo Ariño in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Belo Ubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Young's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belo Ubilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Young's Criston Casanoves shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ignazio Matanza but with some difficulty. Ignazio Matanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Potes in the 75th minute of the match. When Belo Ubilla came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Young fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belo Ubilla couldn't finish the play. Belo Ubilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ignazio Matanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belo Ubilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignazio Matanza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Godofredo Potes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Young's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Belo Ubilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ignazio Matanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Criston Casanoves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignazio Matanza. Candil's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lorencio Emesabel charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorencio Emesabel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Candil got a freekick which was hit by Lorencio Emesabel. Young were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
