Derwin Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Lucio in the 16th minute of play. Erauso Verdes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Umbruso Villamayor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atauri Reizabal in the 20th minute of play forced Pinchazo's goalkeeper Umbruso Villamayor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Escudero's Atauri Reizabal got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atauri Reizabal in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umbruso Villamayor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Martin Lucio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinchazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Lucio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Derwin Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escudero's Derwin Rius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Escudero from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Lucio made a kick off. Celso Almenara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derwin Rius having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Christobal Ilarraza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escudero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinchazo the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Escudero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christobal Ilarraza to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Entrena was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 78th minute, Caetano Entrena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Umbruso Villamayor, passed just outside the right post. Atauri Reizabal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Umbruso Villamayor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Escudero had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
