With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Unanue in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zoil Bayona saved Aguila from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Bittor Trevilla notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Palmitas's Vidal Santirso. Vidal Santirso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bittor Trevilla succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Zoil Bayona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lop Adrian in the 15th minute of the match. Gabriel Turrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufio Rosinos struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Zoil Bayona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. If Gabriel Turrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Aguila booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lop Adrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryan Tordomar, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Aguila's Bittor Trevilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidal Santirso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vidal Santirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Turrilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Aguila's Zoil Bayona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Unanue in the 42nd minute of play. Gabriel Turrilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Santirso having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Turrilla to make the kick off. Vidal Santirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Turrilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute of the match Erasmo Mestas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vidal Santirso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Aguila's Bernaldo Balanzuela got a free kick in the 59th minute. Vidal Santirso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bittor Trevilla's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Turrilla scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vidal Santirso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ruben Unanue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Ruben Unanue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Unanue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zoil Bayona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Unanue in the 86th minute. With an all-out effort, Palmitas's Zoil Bayona threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rufio Rosinos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 92nd minute, Bittor Trevilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bittor Trevilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguila's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
