Jose-Antonio Labarra scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ado Lejarazu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28thth minute of the game Cruz Bobadilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pocitos AFC's Muno Palomares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Jose-Antonio Labarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ado Lejarazu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Bobadilla in the 34th minute of play forced Pocitos AFC's goalkeeper Muno Palomares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cruz Bobadilla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Muno Palomares came out and tried to block the shot, but Cruz Bobadilla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cruz Bobadilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Muno Palomares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Bobadilla in the 52nd minute of the match. Edilberto Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Librado Lamarta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ado Lejarazu having to make a save. Edilberto Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ado Lejarazu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Pocitos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Jonsansoro came free, but Muno Palomares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yacot FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Librado Lamarta scored to the left of an out of position Ado Lejarazu, making the score, 1-2. Ado Lejarazu was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Librado Lamarta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Librado Lamarta really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. When Edilberto Flor came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Pocitos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edilberto Flor couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pocitos AFC's goalkeeper Muno Palomares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cruz Bobadilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Muno Palomares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cruz Bobadilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Yacot FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pocitos AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pocitos AFC.
