After 21 played minutes Aldecoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Santio Toralino. In the 22nd minute, CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's Juango Yunibarbia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Jenaro Alaiz succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. If Jenaro Alaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jenaro Alaiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavino Osa was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Gavino Osa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jenaro Alaiz in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO PEÑAROL's zone, Jenaro Alaiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Osa came out of the goal and Jenaro Alaiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Bertran Urdiales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Osa was a little too slow when Isadoro Armero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-2. A collision led to Aldecoa FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Santio Toralino hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
