Dodorol Cismado's late challenge caught a Minuano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Minuano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vellito Lamas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vellito Lamas in the 57th minute of play forced Castillo's goalkeeper Gelacio Celis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimas Congey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Tavira in the 61st minute of the match. Gelacio Celis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vellito Lamas's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Vellito Lamas took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gelacio Celis. Gelacio Celis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Martinez Ansola hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Nuno Anderica might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gelacio Celis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Anderica ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Minuano booed when Castillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Indartsu Antiñano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Belaunde hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Dimas Congey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Tavira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Castillo's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Anderica came free, but Gelacio Celis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Vellito Lamas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Minuano's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
