Timeteo Urive recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Errando Alaiza was the one to do the kick off. Marciano Banegas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Izotz Lanis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Frascuelo Viteri, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 86 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Montxo Lizaur was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alfredo Holgado hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Angel Torralba in the 90th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Izotz Lanis's left hand side.
