When Igon Betanzos fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conchillas AFC's protests and gave Igon Betanzos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Conchillas AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Igon Betanzos hit a great ball. Conchillas AFC's Beturian Castañares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduino Breijoo in the 25th minute of play. Conchillas AFC's Celestino Ceja managed to work through Margate United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Celestino Ceja dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 32nd minute, Martinez Guitian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Celestino Ceja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conchillas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Ceja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaume Rovira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Celestino Ceja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaume Rovira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jaume Rovira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Ceja, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Conchillas AFC's Beturian Castañares got control of the ball when Martinez Guitian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Batista Algara succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 48th minute Celestino Ceja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaume Rovira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Celestino Ceja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduino Breijoo in the 64th minute of play forced Conchillas AFC's goalkeeper Beturian Castañares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martinez Guitian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beturian Castañares having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Margate United's Blasi Sotillo got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Conchillas AFC's Mederi Velis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Margate United's zone, Batista Algara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaume Rovira came out of the goal and Batista Algara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Celestino Ceja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaume Rovira was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The Conchillas AFC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Conchillas AFC's Batista Algara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 87th minute of the match, Celestino Ceja tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaume Rovira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Conchillas AFC played a much better game than Margate United and deserved their victory. The Margate United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
