Marcelito Varga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martinez Guitian in the 10th minute of the match. Marcelito Varga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduino Breijoo in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Martinez Guitian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelito Varga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martinez Guitian in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelito Varga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Margate United's Desiderio Gian got a free kick in the 24th minute. The Avengers's Matúš Dubeň got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelito Varga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinez Guitian in the 30th minute of play. Margate United's Jaume Rovira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabon Lavet in the 31st minute of play. Jaume Rovira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabon Lavet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Margate United getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pelayo Flames hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Hernandez got free with Jaume Rovira in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martinez Guitian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucio Monterrey made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Avengers's Francesco Alfieri. After a defensive mix-up in Margate United's zone, Matúš Dubeň stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaume Rovira came out of the goal and Matúš Dubeň tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Asier Cuffaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Margate United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Avengers the free kick. Asier Cuffaro hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Matúš Dubeň fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaume Rovira having to interfere. Filippo Hernandez scored 3-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaume Rovira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Michel Saro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cayo Riesco hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Martinez Guitian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabon Lavet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Margate United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martinez Guitian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Avengers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
