After a defensive mix-up in Cordon's zone, Fidel Cortes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magdaleno Gustros came out of the goal and Fidel Cortes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maura Heneriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xurdin Grande went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Magdaleno Gustros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iturri Mussoll in the 76th minute of the match. Fidel Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magdaleno Gustros having to interfere. If Xurdin Grande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rivera FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cordon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
