Gonzo Ugia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maura Heneriz having to interfere. Maura Heneriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzo Ugia's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Crescencio Larrategui got free with Maura Heneriz in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Caitano Riart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maracana Wanderers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivera FC the free kick. Iturri Mussoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Maracana Wanderers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Cortes came free, but Nahia Aranzabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crescencio Larrategui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Maura Heneriz made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Maracana Wanderers FC's Gonzo Ugia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Maura Heneriz had great luck who in the 48thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gonzo Ugia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iturri Mussoll to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rivera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzo Ugia came free, but Maura Heneriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Cortes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nahia Aranzabal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Gonzo Ugia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maura Heneriz having to interfere. When Crescencio Larrategui came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Maracana Wanderers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Crescencio Larrategui couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the game, Txerran Brion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maracana Wanderers FC the free kick. The supporters of Maracana Wanderers FC booed when Rivera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txerran Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maura Heneriz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Maracana Wanderers FC's Crescencio Larrategui. But to his dismay, Crescencio Larrategui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fidel Cortes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Nahia Aranzabal made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Crescencio Larrategui in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maura Heneriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the game, Ramon Aras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maracana Wanderers FC the free kick. Ramon Aras kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Maracana Wanderers FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gonzo Ugia hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danel Azaceta during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maracana Wanderers FC's Danel Azaceta got a free kick in the 77th minute. Taurino Mescua's late challenge caught a Rivera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taurino Mescua helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rivera FC booed when Maracana Wanderers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taurino Mescua didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Maracana Wanderers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iturri Mussoll came free, but Nahia Aranzabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivera FC's goalkeeper Maura Heneriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th match minute, Rivera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordario Sanjurjo to maneuver through the defense. Maracana Wanderers FC's Theobald Salmanton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rivera FC. Theobald Salmanton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maura Heneriz. Rivera FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 96 played minutes Rivera FC got a freekick which was hit by Cordario Sanjurjo. In the 97th minute, Gonzo Ugia made a precise shot to the right of Maura Heneriz. Rivera FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
