Guaberto Ganchegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ishmael Cortiguera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, CERRO LARGO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gelacio Raña came free, but Hurko Enterria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelacio Raña in the 18th minute of play forced CERRO LARGO F.C's goalkeeper Hurko Enterria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Gelacio Raña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hurko Enterria was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 27 minutes, Humberto Alen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERRO LARGO F.C and the Cariguay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, one of CERRO LARGO F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CERRO LARGO F.C. Baltasar Ayensa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 32 minutes into the match, CERRO LARGO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Pi came free, but Hurko Enterria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, Estebe Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERRO LARGO F.C and the Cariguay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, CERRO LARGO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estebe Trigo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Gelacio Raña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cariguay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelacio Raña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gelacio Raña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Ganchegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gelacio Raña was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Pi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ishmael Cortiguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chayo Ziarza in the 59th minute of play. Jonathan Pi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Jonathan Pi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jayvier Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jonathan Pi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CERRO LARGO F.C's Hurko Enterria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelacio Raña in the 74th minute of play. Gelacio Raña blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hurko Enterria having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Guaberto Ganchegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. CERRO LARGO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Ganchegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ishmael Cortiguera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fresco Danzo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hurko Enterria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelacio Raña, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Cariguay FC's Gelacio Raña got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
