Severiano Escajedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Inaki Percaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Panadero in the 25th minute of play. If Matxin Ricaredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Artigas AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ursino Elzuardi hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Artigas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubendu Garzon came free, but Severiano Escajedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulises Panadero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Garra Charrúa Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Inaki Percaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matxin Ricaredo. In a very dangerous position, a player in Artigas AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Panadero was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Inko Descapa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ursino Elzuardi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Panadero in the 57th minute of play forced Garra Charrúa Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Inaki Percaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inaki Percaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Panadero in the 72nd minute of play. If Walme Tijera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Panadero in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inaki Percaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Garra Charrúa Fútbol Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
