Valiente Amigo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Montevideo Athletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valiente Amigo to maneuver through the defense. Carlo Aceves came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zemario Herrara could save by the left post. Xorxe Minilo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Quinten Ebro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txaran Alba having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Eufrasio Casadevante. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eufrasio Casadevante in the 20th minute of play forced Montevideo Athletic Club's goalkeeper Zemario Herrara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txaran Alba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valiente Amigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Quinten Ebro made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rodo's Txaran Alba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eufrasio Casadevante hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, Montevideo Athletic Club's Quinten Ebro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Txaran Alba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rodo's goalkeeper Txaran Alba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute Carlo Aceves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zemario Herrara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Fresco Banda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Carlomagno Puente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo Athletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlomagno Puente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Txaran Alba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd match minute, Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandalio Carpio to maneuver through the defense. Montevideo Athletic Club's Carlomagno Puente got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montevideo Athletic Club's Carlomagno Puente got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 73 minutes into the game, when Ponc Frances put in a rough tackle. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Montevideo Athletic Club! Isaac Cabañas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 77th minute Orlanda Martiniana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zemario Herrara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Montevideo Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Xuban Moneo. The attack was good, but when Eufrasio Casadevante in the 81st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, Rodo's Txaran Alba got control of the ball when Quinten Ebro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Txaran Alba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quinten Ebro in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Valiente Amigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valiente Amigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Txaran Alba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txaran Alba made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Valiente Amigo sent off a good shot on target. Zemario Herrara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fresco Banda in the 94th minute of play. Zemario Herrara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fresco Banda in the 96th minute of the match. Zemario Herrara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlanda Martiniana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the match, Montevideo Athletic Club's Quinten Ebro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Txaran Alba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
