A collision led to Victoria getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Luis-Antonio Andueco hit a great ball. Brais Botejara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silbestre Castelao. Victoria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis-Antonio Arraña in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silbestre Castelao saved Victoria from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Vitor Melic came free, but Silbestre Castelao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silbestre Castelao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis-Antonio Mendiune, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Luis-Antonio Arraña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silbestre Castelao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silbestre Castelao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitor Melic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis-Antonio Arraña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis-Antonio Arraña struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Silbestre Castelao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constitution AFC. Luis-Antonio Arraña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silbestre Castelao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Roi Humara kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Victoria's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brais Botejara was slow to take the kick. During this time Constitution AFC's players had a chance to rest. Luis-Antonio Mendiune scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silbestre Castelao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luis-Antonio Arraña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roi Humara was the one to do the kick off. In the 75th match minute, Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Reig to maneuver through the defense. Constitution AFC's Luis-Antonio Arraña got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constitution AFC's Vitor Melic was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Victoria's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis-Antonio Arraña 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Victoria's Silbestre Castelao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Antonio Arraña in the 91st minute of play. Vitor Melic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Silbestre Castelao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silbestre Castelao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Ozaolaza went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.
