Victoria's Silbestre Castelao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Victoria from getting a goal against them. After 5 minutes, Zelipe Llamazares made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Victoria's Silbestre Castelao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Zelipe Llamazares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silbestre Castelao. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Arnulfo Regules fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silbestre Castelao having to interfere. Arnulfo Regules sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Arnulfo Regules left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itapebi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 24th minute Zelipe Llamazares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silbestre Castelao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zelipe Llamazares in the 25th minute of play forced Victoria's goalkeeper Silbestre Castelao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Hechter Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silbestre Castelao. Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hechter Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Zelipe Llamazares might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silbestre Castelao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zelipe Llamazares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Arnulfo Regules got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arnulfo Regules had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Zelipe Llamazares scored to the left of an out of position Silbestre Castelao, making the score, 5-0. In the 44th minute, Zelipe Llamazares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Regules fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silbestre Castelao having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Zelipe Llamazares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapebi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zelipe Llamazares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Hechter Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silbestre Castelao was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Arnulfo Regules struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Silbestre Castelao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapebi. Arnulfo Regules sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Itapebi's Zelipe Llamazares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silbestre Castelao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Silbestre Castelao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Regules, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zelipe Llamazares in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silbestre Castelao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zelipe Llamazares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Itapebi booed when Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roi Humara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Zelipe Llamazares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silbestre Castelao was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When Itapebi's Arnulfo Regules in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Victoria's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Itapebi had played much better football throughout.
