The supporters of Aguada booed when Riachuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubio Ugia didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Riachuelo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rubio Ugia hit a great ball. Bastian Amesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Sampil in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Errapel Martines in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natanael Borica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes in the game, Eloi Sampil dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Bastian Amesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Martel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Eloi Sampil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riachuelo's Bastian Amesquita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Aguada's Natanael Borica got control of the ball when Gumaro Ruidiaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloi Sampil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Riachuelo's Bastian Amesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Riachuelo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Riachuelo booed when Aguada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Atencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gumaro Ruidiaz in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Borica saved Aguada from getting behind. Rubio Ugia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Riachuelo booed when Aguada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artaldo Floranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gumaro Ruidiaz in the 83rd minute of play forced Aguada's goalkeeper Natanael Borica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Errapel Martines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Errapel Martines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gumaro Ruidiaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errapel Martines in the 97th minute of play forced Aguada's goalkeeper Natanael Borica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
