Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Verdun's Venerando Mangual started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eloy Atencio during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eloy Atencio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Salvador Gobeo saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. The supporters of Verdun booed when Aguada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Atencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Intxixu Guitian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Intxixu Guitian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aguada's Natanael Borica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venerando Mangual in the 29th minute of play. When Aguada's Sebastian Martel in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verdun's goalie prevented a goal. Verdun's Intxixu Guitian got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venerando Mangual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Natanael Borica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vladimiro Ursueguia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomone Miñano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Martel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Verdun's Ramiro Alaejos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Sebastian Martel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomone Miñano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Venerando Mangual managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdun's supporters rose to their feet, but Venerando Mangual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natanael Borica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natanael Borica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venerando Mangual's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The supporters of Verdun booed when Aguada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Ursueguia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Verdun's goal looked a bit too open when Eloi Sampil came free, but Salomone Miñano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Intxixu Guitian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Borica. Aguada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Intxixu Guitian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Verdun's Salomone Miñano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Verdun from getting a goal against them. Lalla Allonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Borica having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Eloy Atencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Aguada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Ursueguia to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Gobeo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natanael Borica. Aguada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 76 played minutes Aguada got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Atencio. Venerando Mangual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael Borica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venerando Mangual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, one of Aguada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aguada. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Verdun. Salvador Gobeo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Natanael Borica. 2-1. Sebastian Martel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Salomone Miñano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Verdun's Intxixu Guitian made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Borica was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Aguada's goal looked a bit too open when Venerando Mangual came free, but Natanael Borica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Verdun's Salomone Miñano got control of the ball when Eloy Atencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aguada players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Verdun.
