Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the game, Nazario Filare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riachuelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.Nacional de Futbol the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Errapel Martines in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Sonibas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vedillo Portero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Riachuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Cavadilla came free, but Bastian Amesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errapel Martines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Sonibas having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Montay Gondin during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.Nacional de Futbol's Montay Gondin got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.Nacional de Futbol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Riachuelo's corner Silvanito Sobera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Sonibas quite easily take care of the ball. C.Nacional de Futbol's Francisco Sonibas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Errapel Martines in the 81st minute of play. Christobal Parandones's late challenge caught a Riachuelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christobal Parandones helped the player get up and apologised.
