Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Montes Londoño kicked off to start the match. Artigas's Rigoberto Cantolla got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Liberfad's Montes Londoño, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Liberfad. If Inautzi Lobado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merexildo Herrezuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Artigas's goal looked a bit too open when Montes Londoño came free, but Paz Corel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ireno Miñano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peru Vascones having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ireno Miñano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Rigoberto Cantolla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artigas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Cantolla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peru Vascones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Liberfad's Montes Londoño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paz Corel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ireno Miñano was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inautzi Lobado in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paz Corel saved Artigas from getting behind. A collision led to Artigas getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Raulo Maysonet hit a great ball. Orzaize Folgoso kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ponce Barriga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Paz Corel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inautzi Lobado in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montes Londoño in the 67th minute of play forced Artigas's goalkeeper Paz Corel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inautzi Lobado in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paz Corel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Inautzi Lobado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liberfad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liberfad's goalkeeper Peru Vascones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Liberfad's Montes Londoño in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
