Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xacobo Uceda started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Melo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ponc Guilizasti. After having played for 8 minutes, Osvaldo Esqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamberlain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Esqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Melo AFC's zone, Osvaldo Esqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cordarrell Fresno came out of the goal and Osvaldo Esqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Ugartondo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Meendez Rocandia came out and tried to block the shot, but Anibal Ugartondo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. In the 29th minute, Osvaldo Esqueira made a precise shot to the right of Cordarrell Fresno. Melo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Melo AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Playo Pradias hit a great ball. After 35 minutes, Severiano Iros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melo AFC and the Chamberlain players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Melo AFC's Severiano Iros got a free kick in the 36th minute. Gorka Castrillo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Osvaldo Esqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cordarrell Fresno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xacobo Uceda in the 46th minute of play forced Melo AFC's goalkeeper Cordarrell Fresno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Cordarrell Fresno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacobo Uceda in the 54th minute of play. Xacobo Uceda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Esqueira in the 64th minute of play forced Melo AFC's goalkeeper Cordarrell Fresno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Melo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Playo Pradias. If Jordy Toldra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Xacobo Uceda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cordarrell Fresno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacobo Uceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xacobo Uceda might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cordarrell Fresno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xacobo Uceda ran back to his position shaking his head. Cordarrell Fresno made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Osvaldo Esqueira sent off a good shot on target. If Jordy Toldra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Anibal Ugartondo made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Chamberlain's Meendez Rocandia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Chamberlain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Melo AFC throughout the match.
