After a defensive mix-up in Manga FC's zone, Abelardo Balboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Goztros came out of the goal and Abelardo Balboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Cismado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cordarrell Fresno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Playo Pradias hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Manga FC's Bento Villamarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cordarrell Fresno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Cordarrell Fresno managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Manga FC's Benigno Cismado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cayetano Baruz didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Manga FC's attack was well implemented in the 27th minute, but when Bento Villamarin was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Ugartondo during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Melo AFC's Anibal Ugartondo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jordy Toldra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Manga FC got a freekick which was hit by Nabar Coello. Jordy Toldra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Narciso Goztros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anibal Ugartondo was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Melo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Iros. In the 54th minute, Benigno Cismado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 66 minutes, Benigno Cismado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manga FC and the Melo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cordarrell Fresno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Cismado in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Melo AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Severiano Iros hit a great ball. Manga FC's Narciso Goztros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Ugartondo in the 74th minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Bento Villamarin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anibal Ugartondo struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Narciso Goztros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melo AFC. In the 82nd minute, Nabar Coello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Ugartondo in the 84th minute of play forced Manga FC's goalkeeper Narciso Goztros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Manga FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jacobo Maestro hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Abelardo Balboa in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Narciso Goztros's left hand side. Cordarrell Fresno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Cismado in the 90th minute of the match. Cordarrell Fresno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bento Villamarin's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Abelardo Balboa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Cayetano Baruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordarrell Fresno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manga FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Melo AFC for a fine match.
