The supporters of Buricayupi FC booed when Sosa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quilo Acaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Franques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ferran Suesa made a huge save. Serapio Zuloaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Olivar Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Estopinal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buricayupi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Franques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferran Suesa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simao Salablanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Serapio Zuloaga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Buricayupi FC's Olivar Quijana. Olivar Quijana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simao Salablanca in the 48th minute of play forced Sosa AFC's goalkeeper Ferran Suesa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Olivar Quijana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Prus's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Sosa AFC's Freddy Prus got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Derwin Lastra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simao Salablanca scored 3-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferran Suesa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Paulino Estopinal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Estopinal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivar Quijana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Quilo Acaro fired a really elegant long shot, but Olivar Quijana threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 79 minutes into the match, Simao Salablanca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferran Suesa. Sosa AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simao Salablanca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of Sosa AFC booed when Buricayupi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayman Trinidad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Prus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olivar Quijana having to make a save. When Serapio Zuloaga came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sosa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serapio Zuloaga couldn't finish the play. Paulino Estopinal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olivar Quijana having to make a save. Olivar Quijana was a little too slow when Serapio Zuloaga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 4-2. After a rather tough play, Sosa AFC's Zuri Madariaga got a free kick in the 94th minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Simao Salablanca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buricayupi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simao Salablanca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buricayupi FC had won after a very even match.
