Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Mataojo's Oalo Cabrerizo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ahogados FC's goalie prevented a goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauricio Roldan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Boni Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mauricio Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Oalo Cabrerizo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauricio Roldan. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mataojo's goalkeeper Salomone Mirantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Anibal Orruma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salomone Mirantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Capellan in the 29th minute of play. Fabio Capellan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salomone Mirantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Ahogados FC's Mauricio Roldan got control of the ball when Boni Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Mataojo's Boni Xavier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 38th minute, Peyo Cavite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ahogados FC's Fabio Capellan in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oalo Cabrerizo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Anibal Orruma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Fabio Capellan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahogados FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Capellan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salomone Mirantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Ahogados FC's Guillelmus Miñaca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Salomone Mirantes. In the 67th minute, Mataojo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anibal Orruma fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Boni Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mataojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boni Xavier couldn't finish the play. Boni Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Orruma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Salomone Mirantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boni Xavier in the 86th minute of play forced Ahogados FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Capellan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Salomone Mirantes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oalo Cabrerizo in the 94th minute of play forced Ahogados FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillelmus Miñaca kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. If Boni Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mataojo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ahogados FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
