Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) Vejigas's Gorka Agranja started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vinicio Cerecedo scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubio Rubin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Cerecedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rubio Rubin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Pelaci in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubio Rubin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gorka Agranja in the 13th minute of the match. Gombal Belda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Santos having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Atarratze Jolis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubio Rubin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vinicio Cerecedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Rubio Rubin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Prospero Orantes fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferrer's protests and gave Prospero Orantes a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ferrer fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Vejigas's Rubio Rubin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Vejigas from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Cerecedo got free with Rubio Rubin in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ferrer's Atarratze Jolis got a free kick in the 47th minute. Gorka Agranja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Freddy Pelaci made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Gombal Belda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejigas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gombal Belda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gorka Agranja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gorka Agranja might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gorka Agranja ran back to his position shaking his head. Rubio Rubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Pelaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Sansone Burdeos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vejigas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferrer the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Vejigas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sansone Burdeos to maneuver through the defense. If Gorka Agranja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Pelaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
