In the 15th minute of the match Ederono Gandara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Txordon Alzola skillfully saved the ball. Txordon Alzola came out of the goal and Teobaldo Val tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Txordon Alzola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Val, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Petri Bordonoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sergio Berlanga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Raigal having to interfere. A collision led to Velazquez FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Petri Bordonoba hit a great ball. Txordon Alzola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Val, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Celis in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Txordon Alzola saved Reboledo AFC from getting behind. If Eduardo Celis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Celis made a kick off. Teobaldo Val's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Txordon Alzola skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pancho Rollan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velazquez FC's goalkeeper Santos Raigal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Reboledo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peruanton Montiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Teobaldo Val made a precise shot to the right of Txordon Alzola. Reboledo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 73 played minutes Velazquez FC got a freekick which was hit by Petri Bordonoba. During the 76th minute of the match Pancho Rollan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pancho Rollan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Reboledo AFC's Pancho Rollan got a free kick in the 77th minute. Teobaldo Val sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Reboledo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peruanton Montiano to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Velazquez FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
