The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Val in the 12th minute of play forced CURCC's goalkeeper Shepherd Izaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Val received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Shepherd Izaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes, Velazquez FC's Ederono Gandara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shepherd Izaran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Velazquez FC reached it. After 18 played minutes CURCC got a freekick which was hit by Giraldo Armero. Shepherd Izaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Celis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Velazquez FC's Eduardo Celis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Cristian Nazaria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Santos Raigal made a huge save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Celis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Velazquez FC's Santos Raigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arias Mirones in the 60th minute of play. Santos Raigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Nazaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, CURCC's Cristian Nazaria made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Raigal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Cristian Nazaria made a precise shot to the right of Santos Raigal. Velazquez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for CURCC. Karl-Oskar Billing stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santos Raigal. 3-0. After some careless play in the CURCC defense, Teobaldo Val kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shepherd Izaran. The CURCC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shepherd Izaran should have stopped the shot. Shepherd Izaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Celis in the 90th minute of play. CURCC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
