Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernaldo Gajardo started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Palma got a freekick which was hit by Ekialde Lizarazu. Isusko Adarzo's late challenge caught a Palma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isusko Adarzo helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Melo FC got a freekick which was hit by Isusko Adarzo. Palma's Evarado Arin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Melo FC. Zayvius Aroztegui kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Gajardo in the 26th minute of play forced Palma's goalkeeper Xzavaier Pinillos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandez Redonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Melo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Milio Espinareda came free, but Gartzea Munarriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zadornin Rafales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernandez Redonet kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Fernandez Redonet took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xzavaier Pinillos. Xzavaier Pinillos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zadornin Rafales in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gartzea Munarriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zadornin Rafales to strike the kick off in the second half. Gartzea Munarriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zadornin Rafales in the 52nd minute of the match. Milio Espinareda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartzea Munarriz having to interfere. Gartzea Munarriz made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Milio Espinareda sent off a good shot on target. Fernandez Redonet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Xzavaier Pinillos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Melo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zadornin Rafales came free, but Gartzea Munarriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melo FC's goalkeeper Gartzea Munarriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Gartzea Munarriz managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Palma's Milio Espinareda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th minute Isusko Adarzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavaier Pinillos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernaldo Gajardo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xzavaier Pinillos. Xzavaier Pinillos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Fernandez Redonet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernandez Redonet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Melo FC.
