Artigas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorencio Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastiano Mandelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nuno Guedella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Novillos AFC's Victorio Indart in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Artigas FC's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Artigas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yoel Artigue came free, but Nuno Guedella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Guedella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiano Mandelo in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Cecilio Ozaolaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Novillos AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Polentzi Profitos hit a great ball. Lorencio Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Novillos AFC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Novillos AFC's Victorio Indart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Domingo Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Ozaolaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lorencio Mina struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Domingo Flores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Artigas FC. Cecilio Ozaolaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorio Indart to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastiano Mandelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Nuno Guedella when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cecilio Ozaolaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Cecilio Ozaolaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Flores. Novillos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cecilio Ozaolaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 58 played minutes Artigas FC got a freekick which was hit by Eyague Alberete. In the 65th match minute, Novillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polentzi Profitos to maneuver through the defense. Bernat Velastegui was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
