An unexpectedly hard shot by Checa Allonca in the 11th minute of play forced Barrancas's goalkeeper Todor Villagarcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Onbera Ferreiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Checa Allonca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todor Villagarcia having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manny Alen got free with Silvanito Muriedas in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manny Alen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvanito Muriedas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Silvanito Muriedas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Modesto Traves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvanito Muriedas was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Manny Alen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Modesto Traves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvanito Muriedas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manny Alen got free with Silvanito Muriedas in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Manny Alen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Barrancas's Manny Alen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvanito Muriedas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Modesto Traves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Barrancas booed when PEÑAROL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacindo Murgia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrancas were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after PEÑAROL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xavion Landeribar took the corner. Ximenes Belarrinaga charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ximenes Belarrinaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes PEÑAROL got a freekick which was hit by Ximenes Belarrinaga. Xavion Landeribar struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Silvanito Muriedas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrancas. The supporters of Barrancas booed when PEÑAROL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Zermeño didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Modesto Traves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Traves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, PEÑAROL's Ximenes Belarrinaga got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 80th minute, Jacindo Murgia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PEÑAROL's Silvanito Muriedas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manny Alen in the 83rd minute of play. Onbera Ferreiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todor Villagarcia having to interfere. Todor Villagarcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Checa Allonca in the 90th minute of play. Silvanito Muriedas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manny Alen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Astor Zermeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavion Landeribar made a great header on Barrancas's corner, it was just that PEÑAROL's Silvanito Muriedas managed to reach the ball for a save.
