Spectators: 7390 (Terracing: 5544, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teyo Puig started the match with the kick off. Montes Romai kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Teyo Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abrojal's supporters rose to their feet, but Teyo Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nazario Bellogin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramone Urquiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nazario Bellogin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertran Candamo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, one of Abrojal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leandro Gurbista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Abrojal's zone, Cesaro Samperio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacio Cuadro came out of the goal and Cesaro Samperio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Gurbista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dacio Cuadro made a huge save. Admon Pasqua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nazario Bellogin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Abrojal's Crispo Pascual got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Progreso's Porfiro Obies broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Progreso's Leandro Gurbista got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Abrojal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaen Mauleon to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Cesaro Samperio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dacio Cuadro. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 46th minute, Abrojal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leandro Gurbista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 48th minute, Ramone Urquiza made a precise shot to the right of Nazario Bellogin. Progreso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesaro Samperio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Leandro Gurbista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacio Cuadro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesaro Samperio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ramone Urquiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Progreso's Nazario Bellogin got control of the ball when Ramone Urquiza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesaro Samperio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacio Cuadro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cesaro Samperio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dacio Cuadro having to make a save. After 66 minutes, Jaen Mauleon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abrojal and the Progreso players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramone Urquiza struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nazario Bellogin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abrojal. 70 minutes into the game, Txaran Arri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Progreso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abrojal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Progreso's Txaran Arri got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Mikel Criales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Progreso and the Abrojal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mikel Criales kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Martino Marmol was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ramone Urquizas short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Nazario Bellogin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Abrojal's Jaen Mauleon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Abrojal's Martino Marmol got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Cesaro Samperio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 91 played minutes Abrojal got a freekick which was hit by Hartz Ennecon. If Leandro Gurbista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Abrojal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Progreso throughout the match.
