After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Luke Valdeboys managed to get in a good position for a shot. LAGOMAR CC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luke Valdeboys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilixo Estivariz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fernendo Borras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Argenis Tejadillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Lavijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernendo Borras took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilixo Estivariz. Ilixo Estivariz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Luke Valdeboys notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of POEHNIX HC's Ilixo Estivariz. Ilixo Estivariz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th match minute, POEHNIX HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Camazon to maneuver through the defense. POEHNIX HC's Ilixo Estivariz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Valdeboys in the 22nd minute of play. LAGOMAR CC's Fernendo Borras got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Archibaldo Diosdado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilixo Estivariz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Fernendo Borras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilixo Estivariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, LAGOMAR CC's Fernendo Borras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilixo Estivariz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 31st minute, Eusebio Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of POEHNIX HC booed when LAGOMAR CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilixo Estivariz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernendo Borras's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With a little luck, LAGOMAR CC's Bartolo Lavijo got control of the ball when Berdoi Bajo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind LAGOMAR CC's goalkeeper Bartolo Lavijo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The POEHNIX HC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LAGOMAR CC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Argenis Tejadillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the game, Bazil Barrientos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arias Labrada during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in POEHNIX HC's zone, Luke Valdeboys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilixo Estivariz came out of the goal and Luke Valdeboys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, LAGOMAR CC's Fernendo Borras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilixo Estivariz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luke Valdeboys got free with Ilixo Estivariz in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebio Gonzalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilixo Estivariz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Gonzalez ran back to his position shaking his head. When Arias Labrada was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Arias Labrada hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. POEHNIX HC's Ilixo Estivariz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save POEHNIX HC from getting a goal against them. Ilixo Estivariz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luke Valdeboys in the 72nd minute. Luke Valdeboys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in POEHNIX HC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Luke Valdeboys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilixo Estivariz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, POEHNIX HC's Gorri Ruperto got a free kick in the 82nd minute. LAGOMAR CC's Peio Arbaiza got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luke Valdeboys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LAGOMAR CC's Luke Valdeboys got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilixo Estivariz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Gonzalez went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luke Valdeboys hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over LAGOMAR CC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than POEHNIX HC throughout the match.
