The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Carrasco getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Patricio Cordal hit a great ball. Hernandez Palafox acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Roldanillo Ocerin. After 7 played minutes Sebastião Montenegro rounded Carrasco's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Oscar Falk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piamontesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrasco the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Piamontesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Falk to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Kauldi Cariton in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Carrasco's Hernandez Palafox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Carrasco from getting a goal against them. Matteo Burset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Carrasco defense, Xzavier Escarraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernandez Palafox. The Carrasco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernandez Palafox should have stopped the shot. When Carrasco's Kauldi Cariton in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Piamontesa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Sebastião Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernandez Palafox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Carrasco getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Platon Villaelrriego hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Piamontesa's Sebastião Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernandez Palafox narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matteo Burset received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernandez Palafox came out and tried to block the shot, but Matteo Burset slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Piamontesa's Oscar Falk got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Patricio Cordal's late challenge caught a Piamontesa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Cordal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Piamontesa booed when Carrasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Cordal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Sebastião Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernandez Palafox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matteo Burset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernandez Palafox having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Colon Santelices was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piamontesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrasco the free kick. Colon Santelices kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Sebastião Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A nice corner shot did that Roldanillo Ocerin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hernandez Palafox quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sebastião Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernandez Palafox read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Xzavier Escarraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Matteo Burset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Piamontesa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
