Aurken Macorra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Bäcklin having to interfere. Manni Lainez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Hormilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Aurken Macorra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Marcus Bäcklin made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Xizavier Palou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Conciliacion's goal looked a bit too open when Hegoi Tipular came free, but Severiano Hormilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Bäcklin came out of the goal and Aurken Macorra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Reynardo Ameda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Bäcklin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Aurken Macorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hegoi Tipular in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Hormilla saved Conciliacion from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hegoi Tipular to make the kick off. Aurken Macorra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Bäcklin having to interfere.
