The Pocitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Terres should have stopped the shot. If Severino Mendizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerrold Baranda in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Terres saved Pocitos FC from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Jerrold Baranda notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pocitos FC's Isaac Terres. Isaac Terres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isaac Terres came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Montevideo AFC's Severino Mendizabal. But to his dismay, Severino Mendizabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pocitos FC's zone, Severino Mendizabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Terres came out of the goal and Severino Mendizabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerrold Baranda took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Terres. Isaac Terres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Isaac Terres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Mendizabal in the 44th minute of the match. Vasco Moneo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Calixto Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

If Jerrold Baranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerrold Baranda got free with Isaac Terres in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Terres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Mendizabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Terres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Mendizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Angelino Orense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xosepin Tordesillas charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xosepin Tordesillas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Montevideo AFC's Isadore Sierra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pocitos FC. With his leg Isaac Terres managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Montevideo AFC's Jerrold Baranda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Montevideo AFC's Jerrold Baranda got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jerrold Baranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calixto Vigil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Moneo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Montevideo AFC's Calixto Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milian Rajo in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th play minute Suero Ponce came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Isaac Terres. 0-5. Severino Mendizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Isaac Terres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Montevideo AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pocitos FC throughout the match.
